How to Cancel YouTube TV Subscription?

Step by step (website)

1. Go to tv.youtube.com on a desktop browser and sign in.
2. Click your profile icon in the top right.
3. Go to Settings.
4. Select the Membership tab.
5. Click Cancel membership (or Pause membership if you only want a temporary break rather than fully canceling).
6. Confirm through any retention prompts.

On the mobile app

1. Open the YouTube TV app.
2. Tap your profile picture.
3. Go to Settings → Membership.
4. Tap Cancel membership and confirm.

Pause vs. cancel — a useful distinction: YouTube TV lets members pause their membership for up to a set number of months (useful for travel or a temporary break) instead of fully canceling, which keeps the account and channel/DVR setup intact for an easier restart later. Fully canceling removes access at the end of the billing period and any recorded DVR content is generally kept for a limited window (typically up to about a year) rather than deleted immediately, though this can change.

What happens after canceling: access continues until the end of the current billing cycle already paid for — there's no prorated refund for the unused portion, and canceling doesn't happen instantly.
