How to Delete a Discord Account?

Step by step (desktop / browser)

1. Click the gear next to your name (User Settings).
2. My Account.
3. Scroll to Delete Account (or Disable, if you only want a pause).
4. Enter password (and 2FA).
5. Confirm.

Mobile: same place — avatar → the gear / three lines → Account → Delete Account. Wording is a little tighter on a phone but it's the same account action.

After you delete: Discord typically waits 15 days (check the current warning on the confirm screen) before the deletion finishes. Logging in during that window cancels the delete. Servers you owned need a new owner or they'll be a problem — transfer ownership first.

Username: deleted names aren't always instantly reusable. Nitro and boosts don't come with a goodbye refund just because you deleted.

Can't find Delete: you may be looking at a server settings page, not user settings. Delete is on your account, not a channel.
