What cancellation does and doesn't do: paid monitoring usually runs to the end of the billing period you already paid for. Canceling a membership is not a credit freeze, not a fraud alert, and does not delete your credit file — those are separate tools at Experian (and the other bureaus). Closing the paid dashboard just stops that subscription fee.
If you can't find Cancel: you may be looking at a free Experian account with no paid plan, or the charge is under a different email, a trial that converted, or a partner (bank/credit-card site that bundled Experian). Check bank statements for the exact merchant name, then match that product in the account.
This is account-cancellation how-to, not credit-repair or legal advice. For disputes on your report, Experian's dispute process is a different flow from canceling IdentityWorks.
