How to Cancel a Canva Subscription?

To cancel Canva Pro, open your account settings, go to Billing & plans, and select Cancel subscription — but the exact place depends on where you originally subscribed, because Apple and Google handle their own billing.

Cancel on the Canva website (most common):

1. Log in at canva.com and click your profile picture/gear icon in the top corner.
2. Go to Settings → Billing & plans (sometimes shown as "Payments and plans").
3. Find your subscription and click the three dots (⋯) next to it.
4. Select Cancel subscription and confirm.
5. You'll get a confirmation email — keep it as proof.

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store (iPhone/iPad): Canva can't cancel it for you.

• Go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Canva → Cancel Subscription.

If you subscribed through Google Play (Android):

• Open the Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Canva → Cancel subscription.

Cancelling a Canva for Teams subscription: Only the team owner or an administrator can cancel, and it's done from the same Billing & plans page. Note that billing is per member, so removing members before cancelling can reduce a final charge.

What happens after you cancel:

• You keep Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for — cancelling doesn't cut you off immediately.
• After that, your account reverts to Canva Free rather than being deleted.
• Your designs stay in your account, but elements, photos, fonts, and features that are Pro-only will become locked or watermarked, and Brand Kits and premium templates lose access.
• Storage drops to the free tier, so download anything important first.

Before you cancel — two things worth doing:

1. Download your designs and assets you may lose access to.
2. Check whether you're eligible for a refund. Canva's policy generally allows a refund if you cancel within a short window after being charged (often cited as within 14 days for an unused subscription) — you'd contact Canva support directly for that.

Cancel before the renewal date to avoid being billed for another cycle; the renewal date is shown on the Billing & plans page.
