How to Hide Amazon Orders?

Open Your Orders, find the order, and choose Archive order — that removes it from the default order list without canceling or deleting the purchase. Archived orders still exist in your account; they're just out of the main view.

Updated Accounts & Subscriptions

Step by step (website)

  1. Go to amazon.com and sign in.
  2. Open Returns & Orders (or AccountYour Orders).
  3. Find the order.
  4. Open the order's order details (or the actions menu next to it).
  5. Select Archive order.

On the app: Your Orders → tap the order → look for Archive order in the order actions. Wording varies slightly by app version, but it's the same archive feature as the website.

Archive vs. the other "hide" options people actually mean

What you want What to use
Get it off the main Your Orders list Archive order
Keep a Household member from seeing it Amazon Household / profile sharing settings — archive does not hide an order from someone who shares the same Amazon Household
Cancel a purchase that hasn't shipped Cancel items on that order, not archive
Remove it from existence You generally can't fully delete an order history item; archive is the available hide

Un-archiving: Your Orders has a filter or link for Archived orders. Open it, find the order, and choose Unarchive (or move it back). Receipts, returns, and invoices still work on archived orders.

Gift orders: buying with a gift option and shipping to another address hides the item from the recipient's unboxing in the usual way, but it does not archive the order on your Your Orders list — you still archive that separately if you want it off your list.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does archiving an Amazon order delete it?

No. It only removes the order from the default Your Orders list. The record stays in your account and can be un-archived.

Can someone in Amazon Household still see an archived order?

Often yes. Archive hides it from your main list, not necessarily from a shared Household profile — that's a separate sharing setting.

Can you unarchive an Amazon order later?

Yes. Open the Archived orders view from Your Orders and choose Unarchive on that order.
