How to Curve Text in Canva?

Step by step (Canva editor)

1. Add text (T) and type your words.
2. With that text selected, open Effects in the top (or side) panel.
3. Click Curve.
4. Drag the curve intensity slider. One direction arches up (smile); the other arches down (frown). Fine-tune spacing with letter spacing if the arch looks cramped.
5. Resize the text box — a wider box makes a gentler arc for the same slider value.

Circle / stamp text: Curve won't make a perfect closed ring by itself. For text around a circle, people duplicate the text, curve one arc on top and one on the bottom, or use an app that supports circular type. Canva's Curve is an arch, not full circular type.

If Effects → Curve is missing: you're in a doc-style editor, a video page that doesn't support it, or a very old mobile build — try the browser editor or updating the app. Some free versus Pro limits affect other effects more than Curve.
