How to Cross Out Text in Google Docs?

Keyboard shortcut

1. Highlight the text you want crossed out.
2. Press Alt + Shift + 5 (Windows/Chrome OS) or Cmd + Shift + X (Mac).
3. The text now displays with a line through it.

Menu method (if the shortcut doesn't work or isn't remembered)

1. Select the text.
2. Click Format in the top menu.
3. Go to Text.
4. Click Strikethrough.
