How to Draw Bluey?

Step by step

1. Draw the head as a rounded shape, a bit wider than tall, with a gently squared jawline (Blue Heelers have a fairly broad, sturdy-looking head).
2. Add tall, pointed, upright ears — large relative to the head and standing straight up, one of the easiest ways to make the drawing instantly recognisable.
3. Draw the muzzle as a shorter, blockier snout than a typical cartoon dog, with a small black nose at the tip.
4. Add the body as a compact oval, proportionally smaller and rounder than a realistic dog's body, in the simplified style of the show.
5. Draw thin, straight legs, short relative to the body, ending in simple rounded paws.
6. Add a short, slightly curved tail.

The colouring detail that matters most: Bluey is primarily a blue-grey colour, but has tan or cream markings on the muzzle, chest, legs/paws, and the tips of the ears.
